Allegorical representation of Spring. A young woman weaves a spring wreath; she takes the flowers needed for this from the large vase beside her. In the foreground a hen and her chicks peck at grain and on a shelf on the wall two birds sit pecking. The print is part of a series of four prints depicting the four seasons.
