About this work

The Wedding at Cana. Around a table various guests are eating and drinking. At the head of the table sits the bride with a crown on her head. To the left a man pours water into a jug. Christ sits to the left in the foreground and points to this jug. Thus he turns water into wine and performs one of his first miracles (John 2:1-12).
