About this work
The frame is formed by arabesques, three cherubs, and a satyr's head. Hanging at the bottom is a pear-shaped pearl. Sheet 3 of a series of four sheets with ovals or medallions in a frame of grotesques and arabesques on a black ground. Connection points for chains at the top and sides.
