About this work
Adam and Eve kneel among various animals. They look to the heaven from which the voice of God sounds: indicated by a cloud in which Jahweh in Hebrew letters stands. Many animals can be seen, such as a giraffe, a turtle, an ostrich, monkeys and a camel. In a cartouche at the bottom a French text in mirror image.
