About this work
A row of dancing peasants at a feast. Left two musicians, a bagpiper and a man playing a shawm. At a table sits a drunk peasant. He sleeps with his head on the table. Seven couples dance next to each other in different poses. Under the representation a Latin verse. The print forms a pendant with a representation of dancing couples from the higher classes.
