Portrait in a cartouche of Menno Simons, anabaptist preacher and theologian of the sixteenth century. Bust to the left. Menno Simons sits in a chair before his desk, writing in a book. Several books and an open Bible stand on the desk. Below the portrait, a Latin text in scrollwork and a cartouche with the monogram IHS. The print has a German inscription.
