The Hungry Esau Sells His Birthright as Firstborn to Jacob for a Bowl of Lentil Soup. Above, three medallions with images of events related to Jacob's life: left Jacob deceives his father Isaac, who unknowingly proclaims him heir, center the dream of Jacob, right the first meeting between Rachel and Jacob at the well. The print bears a Latin inscription in a cartouche. The print is part of a series on scenes from the Book of Genesis.
