About this work
A landscape with a group of monkeys in the background. A lion attacks one of the monkeys and is driven away by hunting dogs. In the foreground lions and leopards are hunted by hunters with bow and arrow. One of the lions has a monkey in its mouth. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series on hunting scenes.
