About this work

Egyptians kill dragons by luring the beasts onto a sheet on which a spell is written. The beasts fall asleep immediately and the hunters behead them subsequently. In the background on the left one of the dragons attacks an elephant. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series on hunting scenes.
