Emperor Charles V on horseback with his brother Ferdinand of Hungary behind him. His army chases the Turkish siege troops who had tried to conquer Vienna (1529) into flight. In the background to the right Sultan Süleyman I blowing the retreat. In the background to the left the city of Vienna. The print is part of a twelve-part series on the victories of Charles V.
