About this work
On the way to Italy, the ship on which Paul is transported as a prisoner runs aground. Paul encourages the soldiers and other passengers and gives them instructions on what to do. Paul and the centurion of the soldiers stand with one foot on the ship and step with the other foot into the water. Some soldiers are already on land.
