About this work
Two herms (square pillar with human bust or upper body) of Hercules. The left has the upper body and genitals of Hercules, wearing the lion skin with head and paws over his head and shoulders. The right has the upper body of Hercules with his club in his hand. The herms stand on a pedestal with thereon a two-line text in Latin.
