Christ appears to Peter just outside the city gate of Rome. Peter asks Christ "Quo vadis, Domine?". Christ answers the question with "Eo Romam iterum crucifigi" (I go to Rome to be crucified again). Peter holds keys in his hands. In the background on the right soldiers leaving the city.
