Fame blows a trumpet over History, who is reading a book on a sarcophagus amidst ruins. Below the image two stanzas of eight lines of Latin verse. Concluding print for a series of ten prints, consisting of an unnumbered title print, eight numbered depictions of heroes, and an unnumbered concluding print.
