About this work
In an oval cartouche, the goddess Venus, lying naked on a bed. On the ground beside her, Amor with arrow and bow. Two cherubs hold up the bed's canopy. Around the cartouche, in the corners, four putti with the four elements (from top left to bottom right: fire, air, water, and earth). The print has a Latin inscription.
