About this work

Tobias walks into the house where his family is using a feast at the table and tells his father Tobit that a strangled man lies outside. His father immediately gets up from the table. Tobit had taken on the task of burying all poor people who were killed by the Assyrian king in a decent manner (Tobit 2: 3-4).
