About this work

This aristocratic lady and her music teacher have just interrupted their lesson to give into their sensual urges. The flute on the table, tilted upwards, leaves no room for doubt regarding this gentleman’s intentions. The erotic tension is underlined by the presence of a third character peeping at them from behind the curtain, lending the scene a voyeuristic appeal.
