Portrait of William IV, Prince of Orange-Nassau

Oval portrait bust of Willem IV, Prince of Orange-Nassau, holding a marshal's baton. The oval is decorated with apples of Orange and plant branches with flowers. At the bottom of the oval frame is a cartouche with various coats of arms. The portrait rests on a pedestal featuring a relief with the image of a tombstone. To the left in the foreground stands a decorative vase, decorated with the Dutch lion holding a bundle of arrows in its claws; atop the vase sits a mourning putto. To the right of the pedestal stands a plumed helmet. Print marked in the upper right corner: Pag. 49.
