About this work

Bacchus turns the Thracian pirates who kidnapped him into dolphins. He causes ivy to grow on the mast, and monsters appear, causing the sailors to jump overboard and turn into dolphins. Book illustration for: Lof-sanck van Bacchus, 1616.
