About this work
Two women in an interior, in gowns from Delannoy. Left: gown in white and red with a skirt of red velvet trimmed with white linen lace; large velvet bow on the side. Bodice and 'tunique' of cream-colored silk with red motif trimmed with linen lace, gathered on one side. Right: 'toilette' of grey-blue satin trimmed with velvet bands. Skirt trimmed at the bottom with crossed bands; over which a plain overskirt is draped. Jabot of satin. With a few lines of advertising text for various products. Print from the fashion magazine Revue de la Mode (1872-1913). Extensive description of the clothing on pages 11 and 12 "PLANCHE COLORIÉE".
