About this work

Standing woman wearing a dress of Blonde (bobbin lace) and a 'manteau' of 'velours simulé' with bead embroidery. 'Coeffure' designed by Mr Guillaume. Accessories: tiara, necklace, brooch, bracelets, fan, long gloves. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
