About this work
Two women in evening ensembles, at a staircase. Left: skirt with floral pattern; overdress draped and decorated with flower corsages. Accessories: headscarf, feather-handled fan, long gloves, bracelets, heeled shoe. Right: evening cloak(?) decorated with leaf pattern and fringes on a draped skirt with ruffles and flower corsages. The print is probably from the fashion magazine *La Saison* (1867–1902).
