About this work

Two women at the entrance of a theater box, holding a fan. Left: gown for the theater and 'grande soirée'. Right: evening gown for the theater, 'grand diner' and soirées. Long skirt of satin in 'bleu de Sèvres' with train, over which white lace is fastened with two flower corsages of tea roses. Below the image, several lines of advertising text for various products. Print from the fashion magazine Revue de la Mode (1872-1913). Extensive description of the clothing on pages 77 and 78 "PLANCHE COLORIÉE".
