About this work

Triumph of the Christian faith with Christ standing in heaven with a cross banner between the symbols of the four evangelists while he appears to address scholars. Angels blow on trumpets. Under this scene the earth burns and the other triumphs, Love (Amor), Chastity (wise maiden with banner), Fame, Time and Death lie defeated on the ground. Latin inscription in two lines: VT VENTO RAPITVR ...
