Woman of Strasbourg

Woman from Strasbourg, in profile to the left, with both hands in a fur muff. On the head a cap with a wide bonnet edge ending in a point on the back of the head. A narrow, five-layer thick pleated collar with fastening at the neck. From the neck two hanging braided cords ending in an eye, to which two loose ribbons. A short tight jacket with a wide fur collar and tight long sleeves. Underneath a lacing bodice on a knee-length scalloped skirt under which an ankle-length skirt with a wide bonnet edge. The bodice is trimmed with fur, a dark overskirt, under which a light underskirt. Gathered, white apron. Open shoes with ribbon fastening and heel.
