Noblewoman from England, in profile to the right, with hair combed tightly back from the forehead and ending at the back of the head in a coiled braid. From the temple the lower hair hangs curled on the shoulders and the back. A plain double-folded neckerchief, underneath another that is slightly pleated hanging over the shoulders and the back. Jacket with tight bodice, long sleeves from the armhole straight and from the elbow wide and cut in so that the white shirt(?) is visible. Turned-back unadorned cuffs. Long, pleated skirt lifted with the left hand. Floor-length underskirt with scalloped hem. In the left hand a feathered fan on a ribbon. Copy after "Mulier Nobilis aut Generosa Anglica / Noble Gentle woman of England".
