About this work
Christ uses the meal with two men at a table. He breaks the bread, as at the Last Supper. Servants walk back and forth with food and drink. In the background right it can be seen how Christ appears as a gardener to Mary Magdalene ('noli me tangere'). In the background left it can be seen how Christ is on the way to Emmaus with two men. This print is part of a series of twelve prints with scenes from the Passion.
