About this work

English lady with hair combed tightly back but frizzed curls along the face. Drop-shaped earrings and around the neck a pearl necklace. Dressed in a gown with around the shoulders a flat collar of lace over which a pearl necklace with a jewel at the neckline. She wears long gloves.
