About this work

English woman with on the head a hat with tapering top and wide brim with hatband on a lace cap that falls over the ears. Two unadorned neckcloths over each other: a double-folded square one and one that lies over the shoulders, closed in the middle with a bow. The hands stick in a fur muff.
