About this work

Quiteria loved Basilio, but was forced to marry the rich Camacho. Out of love grief Basilio stabs himself with his sword and asks Quiteria to marry him so he can die happily. As soon as the priest has blessed the marriage Basilio stands up healthy and well again. Numbered in the lower left: 9.
