About this work

Canto XLIII from 'Orlando Furioso'. During the restraining of Ariosto, Oliviero was injured. The help of a hermit is called in to heal him. Out of gratitude, Ariosto organises a feast where Ruggiero is also present. Bottom left numbered: 12.
