Frederick the Great stands, dressed as a Roman Emperor, with his right foot on a stone cube. His right hand leans on a sword, in his left arm he has a shield. In the background, riders flee away. On the ground lie fallen horses and soldiers. Nike, the goddess of victory, has turned her back to the king.
