About this work
The family of Charles Primrose tries to pretend that daughter Olivia is in the spotlight of Squire Thornhill. It is decided to go to church on horseback instead of on foot. However, the old animal does not have enough strength to carry all family members. Mr. Burchell comes to the rescue and succeeds in getting the stubborn horse in motion.
