Left: Harley receives a tour of the women's ward of the Bethlem Royal Hospital psychiatric hospital. One of the patients grabs his hand and tells her impressive life story. Diagonally behind Harley stands the superintendent of the hospital. Right: Robert von Hohenecken proposes to Berta von Flössheim, whom he previously abducted. Also present are Robert's servant Lambert and a coal burner.
