The fifth series of four scenes from the print series 'The Little Passion', here still unseparated, with 4 images on 1 sheet. Top left: Christ, bound to a pillar, is scourged by men with bundles of twigs. Top right: Christ, sitting on a dais, has a crown of thorns pushed onto his head. Bottom left: Christ, standing in an open window, is shown to a jeering crowd of people. Bottom right: Pilate washes his hands in a basin into which servants pour water for him.
