About this work

John kneels before Christ, who sits enthroned under seven torches, surrounded by the four apocalyptic beasts (winged lion, winged ox, eagle and angel) and the 24 elders. A lamb with seven horns and seven eyes stands with its forepaws on a book with seven seals on Christ's lap. On the verso Latin Bible text in Gothic script in two columns.
