In a forest, Joachim kneels before an angel, who announces the birth of his daughter Mary. In the background, some shepherds and their flocks. Further in the background, a bay. Latin text printed on the verso. This print is part of a series of 20 prints, consisting of a title print and 19 prints with scenes from the life of Mary.
