About this work
The wicked knight Morgus has kidnapped the beautiful Karly and holds her beloved Fragel captive. Morgus promises Karly that he will release Fragel if she listens to him. On the left, Morgus leads the sorrowful Karly to the tower without a gate, preceded by a small man with a torch. On the right, Karly sits in her prison as the falcon of Fragel flies in through the window, attracted by the sound of her harp. Eventually, Fragel defeats Morgus in a duel. Numbered: 20 S. and 29 S.
