About this work
In a room, Clara, Feldheim and his aunt, Henriette's mother and the landlady have gathered due to the death of Henriette, who lies in state under a sheet. Suddenly Benning enters who falls to his knees, exclaiming that he is guilty of Henriette's death. Numbered upper left: p. 204.
