The angel Gabriel appears to Mary, while she sits reading at a lectern in a high room. In the background God in heaven; above Mary's head the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. Latin text printed on the verso. This print is part of a series of 20 prints, consisting of a title print and 19 prints with scenes from the life of Mary.
