Portrait of Ulrich Varnbüler (1471-ca. 1544), turned to the right, wearing a large hat. At the top an inscription with the name of the sitter. To the right next to Varnbüler's face a cartouche with the statement that Albrecht Dürer made this portrait to honor Varnbüler.
