About this work

The rich man lies on his deathbed. A urine flask viewer stands by his bed. Family and friends mourn the dead. A devil stands by his bed to take the soul of the rich man to hell. In the foreground a secretary dividing the belongings. Print from a series of four with the Parable of the Rich Man and the Poor Lazarus.
