About this work
The right part (the third two blocks of the six) of a wide woodcut, which either served as the model for, or is a copy of, the representation on a tapestry from Castle Michelfeld on the Rhine. On the left a teacher and a cleric, with a scroll stating that they would like to learn from the unjust judge. On the right a man with flaming eyes, called the Eternal Providence, a representation of the Last Judgment.
