About this work
The man wears 'Pluderhosen'* (rarely worn in the Netherlands) with a codpiece* or braguette* and knee bands. Shoes reaching just above the ankle with slits in the length. On his head a small hat with high crown and small brim, feather and ribbon decoration. The woman wears an overcoat with pleated collar* and pleated cuffs. Below a striped underskirt*.
