About this work

Saul wearing a fur-lined cloak*, with sleeves with smocked cuffs. Boots on his feet. David wearing boots with turned-down flaps. The two men next to the throne have a bonnet* on their heads with, respectively, turned-up brims and ear flaps. Dating of clothing: 1505-1515.
