About this work

Ihle p. 13: no. 28: The Walk, 1520. The man wears a belted gown with sleeves wide to the elbow and there, sewn to a narrow lining, blouses. Underneath smooth under-sleeves, provided with two transverse slits. Bonnet with indented brim, folded down over the forehead. Wide shoes with slits. The woman also has a dignified appearance. She wears a gown with turned-back sleeves lined with fur. Head covering is a cap with hair bag.
