About this work

The groom has been in the city: the little dog next to him sniffs at the hat of another woman, which protrudes from his pocket. On the ground lies his broken sword. The bride stretches. She has had a party at home and played card games. The cards lie next to her on the floor. In the back of the room stands a yawning servant. To the right, another servant walks out of the room with a stack of unpaid bills.
