About this work
A farmer sits in a practice. A pipe sticks out of his cap and his mouth hangs open. His bare right foot rests on a wooden bench. The man, barber(?), opposite him treats him. Next to the foot lies a knife. Behind him, a wooden partition with a portrait of an unknown man and a shelf with bottles.
