About this work
Christ sits among some soldiers in the house of Pilate. His lower body is covered by a garment and his hands are bound. The man in front of him hands him a reed as a scepter and a soldier behind him crowns him with a crown of thorns. In the margin, a one-line inscription in Latin from Matt. 27.
