About this work

A blindfolded woman sits on her knees with a monster bearing a peacock's tail on her back. Above her the text "zeden - wetten" (morals - laws) and a Bible. Above that sits a man with a crown and sceptre on a chair. To the left stands a winged woman holding a sacred heart in her hand and a figure in fetal position in her womb.
